Master in Prosthodontics for Longevity* (M.Sc.)

Part-Time Master's Program at Goethe University Frankfurt

*Subject to the approval by Senate and the Executive Board

Designed for dentists and dental technicians who want to advance their expertise in modern prosthodontics, interdisciplinary treatment planning, and evidence-based patient care.

Throughout the program, you will learn how to design, simulate, and scientifically evaluate complex restorative treatments while integrating the latest materials, digital workflows, and interdisciplinary approaches. You will explore emerging topics such as oral-systemic connections, aging and prevention, occlusion and function, as well as the clinical implications of inflammation and autoimmunity.

Complementary hands-on training allows you to translate scientific knowledge into practical skills, with a strong focus on precision, predictability, and patient safety. This comprehensive approach prepares you to plan and manage complex restorative cases with confidence.

The 120 ECTS part-time program is taught entirely in English and is designed to fit alongside your professional career. Over the course of three years, you will attend five on-site sessions at Goethe University Frankfurt, each lasting up to eight days. During each visit, you will participate in face-to-face seminars, lectures, and hands-on training throughout the day—combining academic knowledge with practical application.
